No Small Miracles Verve Diva Challenge Card

I love the inspirations picture over on the Verve Diva Inspiration Challenge  this week, so I decided to make a card for that challenge.  Here is the inspiration picture....

Aren't those colors just smashing?!  I think so!

So, here is my card....
I started with a watercolor panel, slightly narrower than an A2 card.  I used the Darice Loose Floral embossing folder to emboss the image onto the panel.

I used Tim Holtz distress markers with a water brush, and distress inks to watercolor the image, then added the blue background shadow with TH inks also, using a Clarity brush to get a soft application.

The Verve stamp phrase 'There are no small miracles' is from the Verve clear set Wonderfully Made vs-0180, which I stamped in rich cocoa Memento ink.   I love this set, and use it very often.  It has the best verses in it.

I left this card very clean and simple....just three little sequins.  I simply mounted the panel to an A2 brown card, which is just enough wider than the panel to create a narrow brown strip along the right edge, to offset the verse.

In addition to the Verve Diva Inspiration Challenge, I am adding this card to the following:

Less Is More - Colors turquoise and lilac.

The Flower Challenge - Anything goes.  This is a new challenge....please stop by and say hello, and give them some encouragement.  If you have a chance, be sure to enter the challenge!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Blessings,

lynda
